I decided to participate in the 30 day lolita challenge here however half the questions are not only pointless but off topic and non lolita related. So after baring with it for 19 days I've deciding to take over and write up a new lolita challenge with makes sense and will be a lot more fun for people to do. I will add this lolita project is actually a challenge and will require a lot of creativity so make sure you read them all before attempting this project. The idea behind this project is to actually test yourself and your skills relating to lolita. This will pick your brain and really make you think~

My make up bag is pretty basic. I am not the kind of person to own lots and lots of different brands as I only need my basics to make my face work/look less ugly. I have the usual stuff, foundation, glitter, eyeshadow etc... My kit as I said is pretty basic. The BTSSB sticker on that box is my eyelash box. I also have this really cute Emily The Strange make up pallet and Pop-Tastic pallet.

It obviously is a no brainer but I adore gothic lolita with a passion. However I feel as a lover of lolita it is hard to pick a favorite style, of course there is what I wear but when looking at lolita as a whole you can not help but be charmed be it all.

When I first started to take lolita seriously I was ALL about sweet lolita and hime. I found charm, cuteness and wonder in sweet lolita and found nothing else could match its innocence. I adore pastel shades, big bold headdresses, cute prints and beautiful bold coordinates. I was a huge fan of angelic pretty and had quite a few of their dresses in my collection.

But as time went by parts of me started to change and I drifted from sweet to a more hime style of lolita. I started to wear more elegant blouses, wavy long wigs and tiara's.

And soon after this I finally found my feet and rediscovered my love for a more gothy look. I still love my frills but I adore a more elegant look. Detailed dresses, tiny but powerful details and a more sophisticated charm.

So no, I can not just show you one photograph of my favorite lolita style as there is too much beauty in lolita to pick just one.

 Today I went out with Tony for lunch and we both joined in on buying a sharing feast for the two of us to share because of this I did not think it would be all that wise to wear lolita, so I stuck with my goth/creepy cute stuff. Our sharing platter of stuff was huge! All for £18ish so quite a nice meal out for a low price. We ended up not being able to finish it so we brought the chicken home for my cats.

Afterwards we were gonna head to Primark but it was closed so we popped into CEX to where Tony found me a bargain! The first half of the Helsing Ultimate OVA series I, II, III & IV for only £10.50. The few of you who know me, know that I do not really like anime however there is only 4 anime's in the world that I love. Elfin Lied, Attack On Titan, Death Note and Hellsing! It was a really nice day.

 I already have it. The marionette girl OP and head bow. True that it is not the real deal by angelic pretty but this kidsyoyo replica is still just as lovely. I would love to own the real jsk by Angelic Pretty in Red but that'll be a future buy.

 However I now have a newer dream item that I am after and it is not as exciting or rare as the one above it. It is this dress from bodyline. As you can see I already own the black but I want the red too. The dress is just so fabulous and bold, heck I may even buy it in the other colourways~

I am also aiming to get this blouse too in the black and white colorways. Since I wear mainly jsk's the sleeved would look so cute with them.

I honestly do not see what this has to do with lolita. It almost seems as if the person who created this blog post ran out of logical ideas and made a bunch of non lolita related questions. I may, one day, write my own 30 day challenge which makes a little more sense without the pointless and unnecessary questions that this quiz has had. Not all the questions are bad but some of them like this, are beyond pointless. 

So my favorite sweets. This is a tricky one as I do not really have a favorite. As a person, I will try anything once but when it comes to food I do not really have a sweet tooth.

A rare sweet treat I really love are macarons. There is just something so amazing about them but I rarely buy them. Not because I do not want to, but because not many places sell them.

Dime/Daim bars. These things are just lovely. I tend to buy a Dime and Ferrero Rocher milkshake from the milkshake store in town.

 

 That's about it tbf, there is not really many other sweet's I'd say were near my favorite.

 Strangely enough I have next to no photographs of myself before lolita got into my life. This is not because I have worn lolita none stop but it is because of what lolita did to me. As a young child I had extreme low confidence and a lot of problem, because of this I had extremely low self esteem and hated photographs being taken of me. As a teenager I re-discovered my love for lolita fashion and attempted to wear it. Since I was quite young the only lolita I knew of was old school lace monster stuff and it wasn't until I left the Japanese online communities to meet some English communities of lolita that I discovered a more up to date version of lolita. When I hit 18, I started to wear it daily and it became a daily/weekly thing to take photographs of my coordinates. So because of this new want/need for photographs I only as an older teen allowed photographs of myself.

Of course, as I said it was "next to none" and nearly all the photographs of me out of lolita are printed from old camera's so on the PC, this is the only one I can find. I was into lolita at this point but I did not take the fashion that seriously and was more into costumes/goth. At the time this photograph was taken I was 17, just turning 18 and was part of a cosplay/anime community which was weird as I barely liked anime, I only enjoyed manga and I only had cosplayed maybe 3 times in my whole life.

This coat, scarf and head bow at one point was the main thing I would wear daily and I was also quite into the scene queen look. I barely recognize myself, it is strange how much a person can change in nearly 5-6 years.

 Such life, very postage, WOW very delivery, so first class!

 Today I decided it would make much more sense if I followed myself around for the day whilst taking photographs of my random crap. I had just sold a few lolita dresses and decided to go post them out whilst the weather was nice and gloomy. The heat recently had been too hot so to see a nice gloomy day really cheered me up.

I didn't want to dress up too OTT today just in case the sun came out to bite me so I put on a more casual coordinate with my newly appointed music note jsk. I am looking forward to replacing this mirror come payday, it is pretty crap, far too small and I for the life of me can not get the marks off of it. This thing attracts dust like milano attracts newbies.

A bit of overwhelming sarcasm hit me today as I walked to the post office when I saw this billbored;

World war pending? Homelessness on a high rate? Self harming increased in youths? University fee's raised? NOP, none of this matterS if you do not protect your family from cavities! If you don't Hitler will rise from your cavities and control your brain with Nazism through your rotten teeth!

GIVE YOUR FAMILY A CHANCE TO BE FREE!!

 After the post office I got the bus home and could not be happier with the disgusting state of the bus. Yes nothing screams "WELCOME to your journey home" as you sit at the front of the bus near face palming as the sticky floor nearly glues your feet to the metal bus floor. Maybe a selection of yummy fruit and stir fry will cheer one up.

After a nice meal I went upstairs to strip every article of lolita off of my skin only to see my lazy cat Zack sleeping in the middle of the day again on his favorite pillow.

After I ate I wrote up a review and started on this and for the rest of the night I am going to be programming on the sims.
