I am surprised at the amount of people who have asked me to review this bolero and I was asked again about it on a recent coordinate I wore and posted to closet of frills. I personally find this bolero quite pleasant and the fabric choice is beautiful as well as very comfortable to wear. Most wool garments will follow with an itch but this not only avoid itchiness but sit softly against the skin.

Despite how nice this out wear item looks it is not without it flaws. It is quite short in the sleeve and the length so you'll find yourself pulling it down a lot or wearing wrists cuffs or a long sleeves blouse to lengthen it. The woolen ties are awful I cut them off imminently. Do not let the stock photographs fool you as those ties don't even tie into a bow at all and sit very oddly and awkwardly on the chest. It is obvious that the mannequin stocks photographs are in fact tac-stitched in place and as you can see even the image of the model the bow looks odd and wonky.
The "white" color way is in fact NOT WHITE. It is cream and nothing like the stock image in color and from what I herd about the other colors only the pink, black and red are true to the stock images. The brown is more chocolaty tan displayed, the pale blue is more pastel blue, the beige is slightly brown and as I said the white is cream.

The design is very forgiving and stretches nicely. It can fit a larger bust but at the cost of this will be shorter on the body. I am hoping to find one similar to this style but longer as this one seems to sit just below the bust. It seems more fitted to someone of a smaller bust or torso so if you are a C cup or over it OR have a long torso it will sit further up on your body like it does on me. A few people in my comm own this same one and it does the same to all of them.

I really have enjoyed wearing these boleros. Here are two coordinates of mine in white i have worn them. I find the simplicity of the design means it can be worn with a range of styles. My shiro based on the white queen form Alice in wonderland is worn with a simple jsk, tights, heels, tiara, choker, rosary and some wrist cuffs. I balanced this with a white wig to give the feel of royality.

The black bolero however was worn quite differently. Based on the idea of death and taxidermy it was worn with many taxidermy accessories, roses, a stripped jsk, waist cincher and spike rocking horse shows. Finished with an alternative split wig and half wig for volume.

I enjoy how versatile these boleros are and I actually wear them a lot with many of my coordinates instead of a coat for extra warmth and comfort. The small size of it also means it is easy to pop into a bag should you decide to remove it. However the short length of the sleeves is a bit of a let down and does cause some issues when worn. I hope this review helps you if you choose to buy one of these out wear peices.
